Obituary

ALAN D. DEBOLT SR.
February 22, 2014 at age 64 after a brief illness. Alan was born January 30, 1950 in Wyandotte to Clarence and Florence Debolt. He graduated from Taylor Kennedy High School in 1968 and began proudly serving his country in the Army where he would serve as a combat medic in Vietnam in 1970-1971. A fixture in recent years at Myers Lake United Methodist Campground in Byron and at PKSA Dearborn, he will be sorely missed by all those that affectionately called him "Uncle Al". Being a proud member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 267, he leaves behind scores of war brothers to remember him. He is also survived by his beloved wife of 14,116 days Debra (Schofield), his son Alan Jr., sister Jean, brother Tom, and "furever" friend Sassy. Waiting with open arms to greet him in Heaven were his parents, sister Carole, and brothers Glenn & Gary.
