Age 57

Beloved wife of Steve for 33 wonderful years. Adored mom of Kara (Sean), Chelsea (Nate), and David (Anna). Cherished Grandma of Easton, Ember, Emersyn, Benjamin, and Brooklynn. Dear sister of Dudley (Sharia) Morton, Susan (Kenny) Smith, Mary (David) Adams, Deanna (Mark) Young, and Samantha (Mike) Howard. She will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, and friends

Amy was the most loving, kind, gentle soul. She loved with her whole heart and always put everyone else before her self, she truly was a selfless person. She was the brightest, warmest person you could ever meet. Her kids were her life and her grandkids were her world. She was so proud of all of her children and the joy that her grandchildren brought her was immeasurable.

Amy worked as a teacher since 1989 and specialized in special education. Many of her students referred to her as "mom". She was a mom to all. Her career was a major accomplishment in her life and spoke to her kindness and loving nature.

She was the best mom, grandma, wife and friend anyone could ask for. She will be truly missed by all.

Visitation Monday 10 am until the 1:30pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Michigan Humane Society.
