Anna passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 29th at the age of 99.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late John Jonascu, and is survived by her sons John Jonascu, and his wife Gail, Virgil Jonascu, and Michael Jonascu and his wife Pamela. She is also survived by grandchildren, Eden and Ariane, and by her beloved niece Silvia Roman.

Her Christian faith brought her comfort through a long and difficult illness, and her generosity and good works will be remembered long after her passing.

Visitation Tuesday 3-8pm with a 7pm Saracusta at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In State Wednesday 9:30am until the 10am Funeral Service at St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, 18405 W. 9 Mile Road, Southfield (just west of Southfield Road).
