Andrew Paul Kwyer Age 70 of Dearborn. Andrew Passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, June 26, 2021. He was the Loving son of the late Ralph and Victoria, dear Brother of the late Thomas.
Andrew was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. He graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1969. He went on to Michigan State University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning. Andrew continued his education by earning his Law Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1993. After practicing law, he then lived his lifelong dream job as an engineer at Norfolk Southern Railroad, a job which gave him great pleasure and pride.
Andrew was a generous donor to Michigan State University and an avid fan of all things Michigan State - A True Spartan- Andrew was also an exceptional softball player, manager, and later an umpire, for which he was inducted into the USSSA Hall of Fame.
Andrew is survived by his nephews, David and Michael Kwyer, Chad (Joslyn) Brenner, his niece Lyndsy (Joel) Taritas, grandniece Evelyn Mae Taritas and his sister in law Roxanne Kwyer. He was also predeceased by his four dogs, Charlie, Maggie, Sophie and Rocky, whom were all family to him.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m.
