Andrzej "Andy" Zalewski of Garden City passed away on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the age of 70. Andy passed peacefully with his beloved wife Lori and their children by his side.

Andy was born on December 1st, 1952 to Henry and Anna Zalewski. Andy came to Detroit from Bartoszyce, Poland with his family at the age of 10.

Having grown up in the Motor City, Andy developed a love of cars at a young age. He enjoyed spending time working on his personal vehicles, even racing cars for sport as a young man.

Andy had a love of nature. He enjoyed spending his free time on the water, fishing and feeding ducks at the lake. Andy was a talented photographer and found joy in taking pictures of birds and other wildlife.

Andy was, above all, a hard-working family man. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and siblings. His family will remember him as a loving man who always had an amazing story to tell and a sarcastic comment to make. Andy is dearly loved by his family and will be truly missed.
