Obituary

Born on November 28, 1951.  Died age 70 on January 12, 2021.

Beloved Mother to Dante.  Cherished Sister to Dennis (Sherri).  Loving Aunt to Aidan and Shane.

She was predeceased by her mother Loretta, her father, Italo and her sister Marilyn joining them now, eternally joyfully, in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.

Angela served for most all her adult life as an attorney.   She graduated from Divine Child High School in 1969 then attended the University of Detroit where she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration.  She later attended law school and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1978.  She was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1982.  As an attorney, she served all clients with zeal and represented many indigent clients to the best of her ability throughout Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.   She argued many cases in the trial and appellate courts in Michigan during her career.

The practice of law was her life's passion, but her family was her greatest love, especially her son Dante to whom she bestowed her love of music.  Angela was skilled on the piano and favored classical works from Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Mozart.  With her encouragement and support, Dante pursued and was awarded a degree in music from Wayne State University.   During her youth, Angela was instructed on the organ by the nuns of the convent serving Divine Child.  While a high school student at Divine Child she would sometimes be asked by the nuns to play the organ at weekday masses or celebrations.  She would often fondly recount those moments.

Angela loved her mother, father and sister and took care of each of them during their times of terminal illness.  She provided comfort and guidance, arranging for medical care and hospice.   We will miss her humor and wisdom but we take great comfort knowing that she has returned home to the Father and will live in His eternal glory.

Angela had a true love for animals and owned and cared for several during her life.  We ask that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her name to the Michigan Humane Society.
