IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anne R.
Wilson
March 25, 1929 – May 31, 2021
Anne Wilson was born on March 25, 1929 in Ferndale, Michigan to Lorenzo and Anna Musolino. She lived a full and blessed 92 years. She married the late William (Bill) Wilson in 1950 and were married for 66 years. Besides a devoted and precious wife, she was a very loving, thoughtful, and generous mother to Steven (Pat) Wilson, Kathleen (Matt) Davis and James (Debbi) Wilson, an adored grandmother to Gregory (Zahra) Wilson, Daniel (Emily) Wilson, Lauren Brunette, Leslie (Jamie) Ruggles, Melissa Wilson, and a cherished great grandmother to Winnie Jane Wilson. She is also survived by her sisters Marge (Bob) Pirkl, Tina Musolino and brother-in-law Ralph Mele (late Aline) and many kind nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by her caring neighbors, beloved extended family, and cherished friends from the St. Thomas the Apostle (former St. Raphael's) Catholic Church in Garden City.
Besides taking great care of her family, she had a career as a paraprofessional in the Garden City School system for 38 years. She loved her job and enjoyed meeting so many people. She also dedicated her time and resources to her church and civic organizations. Anne was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading, doing daily crossword puzzles, knitting, gardening, and watching Jeopardy.
A private family memorial service will be held soon to celebrate her beautiful life.
Memorials are suggested to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen (Detroit, MI) or Leader Dogs for the Blind (Rochester, MI).
