Age 96

Beloved husband of the late Frances. Dear father of Susan (Edward Bobinchak) Horvat, Sr. Kathleen Horvat (Monastery of St. Clare), Ralph, Nancy Kowalczyk, Edward (Nancy), Joan (Randy) Gahry and Glen (Diana). Grandfather of 10. Great grandfather of 3.

Arthur was a 1940 graduate of St. Gregory High School in Detroit,  a veteran of WWII and a longtime faithful member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, now St. Thomas the Apostle in Garden City where he raised his family with Frances, his wife of over 71 years who predeceased him in 2016. He worked as a tool & die maker at General Motors until his retirement.  In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed the opera and sports especially baseball and golf.  May he rest in peace.

Visitation Tuesday 5-8pm with a 7:30 pm Evening Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Wednesday 10:30am followed by the 11am Funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
