Arthur LaRue Runyon. Born May 21, 1926. Passed away on June 26, 2015. Beloved Uncle to Julie, Steven, Beth, Deborah, Janice, Jane, Susan, Carol Lynne and David. Predeceased by his Father George, Mother Hectorina, Brothers George, Robert, David and Herbert. Also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews. Arthur had a long career in broadcasting, retiring from WXYZ TV in 1991. He then continued to give to the Dearborn Community by joining the Kiwanis Club of Dearborn Outer Drive, becoming president in 1998 and has continued up to this time to donate his time to the Kiwanis community. Arthur took classes to become a docent at the Henry Ford and received volunteer awards in 1994 and 1995. He was also active in the Dearborn Democratic Club and a longtime member in good standing of Stephens United Methodist Church in Dearborn Heights.

Visitation at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.
