Age 35, passed way suddenly.

Loving daugher of Robert and Shirley Pietrzyk. Beloved sister of Robert Pietrzyk, Jr. Dearest friend and cousin of Leanne Tackett. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friend of Ryan Hawk. Predeceased by her grandparents, Edward & Leona Linderman and Walter & Mildred Pietrzyk. She is now reunited with her sweet kitty, Niko, who, as her friend Tom Stadler said, she loved more than life.

Ashley was born, grew up and attended Garden City Schools, graduating in 1999 from Garden City High School. She attended the University of Michigan – Dearborn receiving her Bachelors of Science in 2005 and her Masters of Science in 2007, both in Clinical Psychology. In recent years, her primary focus was as caregiver to her mother, Shirley, always putting others before herself.

Her many interests included Tiger Baseball, jigsaw puzzles, jewelry, nail polish and talking late at night with her friends. Ashley's credo in life was, "Everything happens for a reason."

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Family suggests memorials to Michigan Humane Society.
