Beloved husband of the late Judith Ann. Father of Christine Miska, Rosalie Allie, James and Marilyn. Grandfather of Brandon, Sandra, Allison and Brian. Brother of Joe, Rosalie, Hassen 'John' (Sandra) and Sam (Sabah).
Assad served in the Korean War. He was a VFW State Commander , who also held National VFW positions. Founder of Allie Brothers of Livonia.
Visitation Friday 2-8pm at the Fred Wood Funeral Home, 36100 Five Mile Rd., Livonia (East of Levan). Funeral service Saturday 10:30am at Fred Wood Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials to the American Kidney Foundation or Dingle VA Medical Center.
