Barbara Jean Johnson, age 85 of Allen Park, MI passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, surrounded by her close friends and family.

She was born August 16, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan and was proceeded in death by her parents, John & Mary (Tolmer) Balla, beloved husband Clarence Johnson and son Clarence (Gene) Johnson.  She is survived by son Michael (Leslie) Johnson. Barbara and Clarence ran a business together for many years prior to his passing.

After Clarence's passing, she was employed with Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn where she had many friends including longtime friend Diane Okrongley.  Barbara loved her 6 Doberman Pinschers and was a huge Elvis fan, a love she shared with neighbor and lifelong friend Catherine Wright. She leaves behind several dear cousins, neighbors, and friends.
