Age 99.

Betty was an intelligent woman, who excelled at bridge. She was close to being a life master. She kept her mind sharp to the end, being able to solve Wordle games without even looking at the lines; just by hearing and remembering the letters that were used or not.

More important than her intelligence was her impact upon other people. She always had a smile on her face, which radiated through a room. That is how she will be remembered by those who knew her. She cheered people up and lifted their spirits, while spending the last two decades of her life confined to a wheelchair.

Betty exhibited grace and perseverance, even in face of difficult medical challenges.

She loved a good joke. She also liked occasional trips to the casino, where sometimes she might leave with a little more money than what she had brought.

She dearly loved her family and many friends. She continued making new friends, wherever she lived.

Betty was faithful to the end and never questioned why anything bad had happened to her.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loved mother of Allan (Christa), Brian (Susan), Patricia (Joseph) Farinella, and Michael (Diane). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Abby), Brian (Lauren), Nicholas (Virley), Benjamin (Christine), Joseph (Lauren), Lisa (Mike) Anacker, Annie (Dave) Colson, Christopher (Carolyn), and Kathleen (Jason) Belt. Adored great-grandmother of 19. 

Visitation Monday 12:30pm until the 1:00pm Funeral Service at St. Kenneth Catholic Community, 14951 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth (South of 5 Mile Road).
