Daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and so much more to very many friends and relatives.  Lover of life, gardener, golfer, bowler, avid reader, animal lover, card-shark and businesswoman.

Born March 5, 1931 in Monroe.  Raised by her parents Donald and Bertha (Tack) in Monroe.  Married to William Laughren of Windsor Ontario and Shawville Quebec for 65 years.  Mother to Donna, James, Sheryl (Daniel Hogan), and Erin (Thomas) Pientowski.  Betty is survived by her sisters and brothers Donald and Rose Woodward, Shirley Brancheau, and James Woodward; grandchildren Samuel, Jonah, Immanuel, Ruth (Joe), Christine, Thomas Joseph (T.J.)(Eliz), Kristin, Brian (Julie), Justin (Dana), William (Dustie), Lia and Kara; 22 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial event to celebrate Betty's life at a later date.
