Obituary

Bharatkumar Jamanadas Bajaria passed away peacefully at the age of 76 at his home in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He was born in Surat, India on March 22,1949.

He was the Son of Late Jamnadas Narandas Bajaria and Late Savitri Jamnadas Bajaria and brother to his 7 siblings, Mahendra Jamnadas Bajaria, Late Nalini Bajaria, Usha Ashwin Kasotia, Late Hansraj Jamnadas Bajaria, Manjula Paresh Modi, Gopal Jamnadas Bajaria and Mulraj Jamnadas Bajaria.

He graduated with his degree in accounting from a university in India, married his wife, Kokila Bharat Bajaria in July 1976 then and immigrated to USA thereafter. He built a long career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and retired in 2011. He was known to family and friends by the nickname Bart.

He was survived by his wife, Kokila Bharatkumar Bajaria, his daughter Radhika Anirudh Bhagat, son-in-law Anirudh Ramesh Bhagat, his son, Shyam Bharat Bajaria and his 5 grand-children, Aditya, Anjali, Aatish, Brinda and Avni.

Bharat was a loving, kind father and loved spending time with his grandchildren, nature, cooking and listening to songs by his all-time favorite Artist, Mukesh. He will always be remembered by friends and family by the quote "I did it my way" from famous singer and songwriter Frank Sinatra.

Funeral Services (visitation and puja) in his honor will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:30 at John N Santeiu and Son Funeral Home in Garden City Michigan. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects. For the immediate family only, cremation service will take place in Livonia at 12:30 pm.
