Burke, Bobby Earl, 68, of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, Mr. Burke had been a local resident since 1997 after moving here from Detroit, Michigan. He owned and operated Transport Body & Maintenance. Mr. Burke enjoyed NASCAR, hockey, golf and his work. Survivors include his Sons, William (Jamie) Burke; Michael Burke; his Daughters, Sandra (David) Armstrong; Sharon (Richard) Church; Rebecca Burke; his Brothers, David (Sharon) Burke; Jerry (Diane) Burke; his Sisters, Catherine (James) Wilcox; Patricia (Claude) Dykes; 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren. Proceeded by his wife of 38 yrs, Marlene A. Burke; his Sons, Bobby Joe Burke; Arthur E.Sherman; and his Daughter Heather A. Holt.


The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
