Obituary

Bobby Medley Age 40, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away February 26, 2023, with family by his side. He was born to Janet (David) Razey and the late Bob Hitt on November 6, 1982, in Detroit, MI. He is the oldest brother to Shannon Medley, Ashley, Meagan and Bailey Razey, Amanda, Christian, Charles, and Joseph Hitt, Michael and Brittany Glass, and the late Amber Razey. Bobby grew up surrounded by cousins who were as close as siblings and is also a loved nephew and uncle.

In his younger years, Bobby moved to Howell, MI with his mom, stepfather and sisters where he met Nicole and was welcomed into the home of Michele and Greg York, who also loved Bobby like a son. He and Nicole shared most of their childhood together and welcomed their first daughter, Kaeleigh Medley, into the world in 2003 and their second daughter, Vaeda Medley, in 2007. Though their relationship was not permanent, Bobby, Nicole and the family remained close afterwards.

In 2015, Bobby reconnected with Meagan and opened his heart to her daughter, Chloe Offord, as one of his own. They welcomed their son, Ashton Medley, into the world in 2019. They married in May of 2019 and enjoyed building their family together over the years. Bobby is deeply adored by his parent-in-laws, Christy and Stan Kropik and the late Tom Krstevski, along with the rest of his wife's family.

Bobby can be described by his friends and family as caring, funny, and personable. He truly wore his heart on his sleeve and could light up a room in seconds. Bobby loved his kids with all his heart. His teenage daughters saw him as a hard worker and a great listener who passed no judgement and always had jokes. His younger children looked up to him and always enjoyed his playful personality. His son always called him his best friend. His children find comfort knowing their dad has been reunited     with their Nana (Michele York) and their Dede (Tom Krstevski).

Bobby is preceded in death by his adored grandparents Charles Hitt and Molly Sue Hampton, his uncles, Joey, Fred and Bumpa, and his Aunt B, Aunt Terry and Aunt Tammy. Bobby was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation Thursday 2pm until the 6pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City, MI. Dinner to follow at Dearborn Heights Moose Hall, 27225 W. Warren St., Dearborn Heights, MI.
