Age 114.

Bonita was the oldest living person in the State of Michigan, she was the second oldest in the United States, and the seventh oldest in the world.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Richard for 72 years. Loving mother of Richard (Betty). Proud grandmother of Scott (Cathy), Stacy (Marsha), and Kevin (Sue). Adored great-grandmother of Ryan (Jody), Randy, Russell, Justin (Jody), Brandy, and D'Artagnan. Great-great-grandmother of 10. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation, Tuesday, March 24, 2026 2pm until the 7pm funeral service at the John N. Santeiu & Son, Inc., 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).

Burial will take place at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
