Carol Ann Lunsford, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Plymouth, Michigan, at the age of 86. Born on December 30, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, Carol lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.

Carol married her husband, Franklin Lunsford, in 1962, and they shared 37 wonderful years together until his passing in 1999. Together, they raised four wonderful children, she was the grandmother to nine grandchildren and great-grandmother to seven. Carl (DeeAnne), Andrew, Paul, Sharee. (Kelly), Elijah; Allen (Carola), Tobias; Kelly (Derek), Joshua, Miranda, Jillian; Thomas (Dina), Justin.

Carol was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Funk, who also preceded her in death. She had no siblings but was surrounded by a loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Carol was an active member of the Loyal Order of The Moose, where she found joy and camaraderie. She also had a passion for gardening and pottery, and she enjoyed traveling, which brought beauty and creativity into her life.

Carol's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her kind, generous spirit. She will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of humor, and her ability to bring joy to those around her.

Memorial Visitation, Sunday, April 6th, 12 pm until the 4 pm Memorial Service celebrating Carol's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Loyal Order of The Moose, causes close to Carol's heart.
