Age 74

Cathy left to join her parents in heaven on September 29, 2024 after a life filled with joy and family. Cathy graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School and gave birth to a daughter. She worked for the City of Livonia for 22 years, starting at the Library and devoting most of her career to the Clerk's Office where she brought a welcoming energy to everyone she served and assisted daily as Business and Licensing Clerk. Throughout her life she enjoyed participating in church groups and was a devout Catholic always leaning on her faith and encouraging others with love and kindness. Cathy was uniquely gentle and was able to find the small delights in every day and share them with others in her boundless generosity. Cathy had a love for her Irish and Polish roots and for all history and arts. She enjoyed celebrating life with her many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her beloved siblings and parents. She was the best mother in the world and her greatest joy came from her grandsons, Lucas and Henry whom she adored and cherished, and her children Audrey (Mike) Seilheimer whom she is survived by.

Visitation to be held October 14th  4-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.
