Age 70.  Loving husband of Mary for 51 years. Cherished son of Charles Sr., and the late Betty. Caring brother of Janis (Douglas Foreman) Spears, Carol (Thomas) Balfour, David (Renee), and the late Joyce, and Dennis. Uncle of Kevin (Tammy) Spears, Jeffrey Spears, Brian Balfour, Lori (Casey) Haberland, Justin, Amanda (David) Ostergaard, Anthony, Ryan, Kimberly (Gregory Hubert) Evans, Donald (Jackie) McDonald, and Linda (Jeremy) Frey. Great uncle of 4.

Charlie retired from General Motors in 2001 after 30 years. He was a proud UAW member of Local 22. In 1970, Charlie started working for the Cadillac Motor Car Division, Clark St., Detroit as a line worker doing various jobs. After 15 years, he transferred over to the Detroit/Hamtramck 'Poletown' plant for the remainder of his time.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by many family members and friends.
