Charles Allen Kelly, 72, of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on May 10, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Charles was born November 6, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, to Walter and Ruth Kelly.Following college, Charles proudly served in the United States Army until 1969.He later married the love of his life, Alice, in 1973.Following a long career in the automotive industry, he retired in 2017.

Charles loved life.He had the ability to make anyone laugh and brightened a room with his presence.In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.He also was very involved in his church.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alice; son, Timothy; daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and Brandon Glass; grandchildren, Ian and Elliot Glass, sister, Karen Pellerito (Phil), and many sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, May 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home.A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
