Obituary

We sadly announce the passing of Colin Gordon Taylor on July 28 th , 2022.

He is survived by his children, Dr. Michele Taylor (Jeremy Johnston), Brian (Brandy) Taylor and his five grandchildren (Shelby, Amanda, Jack [Taylor], Trevor and Colin [Johnston]). He is also survived by his sister Barb Taylor as well as his seven nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents James and Ann, loving wife of 53 years Cassandra, son David, sister Margaret (Bomber), twin brother John and faithful dog Coco (Taylor).

Colin was born and raised in Detroit where he graduated from Cody High School in 1961. After graduation, he volunteered to serve in the Air Force and was first chair flutist in their band. He then joined Ford Motor Company where he retired after 42 years. He loved playing the odds, whether poker with his friends, Keno at the American Legion or scratch off's, he was all in

Memorial visitation Friday, August 19 th , 11 am until the 2 pm Celebration of Life Memorial Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

Colin supported the Shriner's Children's Hospital , donations in his name in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated.
