Constance A. Skrzynski. Age 91. Connee passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Frank Skrzynski. Loving mother of Marita (Steven) Stokfisz, Nancy (Rod) Gallaway, Thomas (Annette) Skrzynski, Craig (Wendy) Skrzynski, Carolyn (Michael) Grzelak and Edward Skrzynski. Cherished grandma of Andrea (Jon), Erik (Maggie), Natalie (Levi), Nicholas, Edward, Mark, Gillian, Garrett and Grace. Great grandma of Salem, Landon, and Abigail. Dear sister of Carol (the late Morgan) Risch and the late Richard Godek.

Connee was born in Detroit, Michigan, the eldest child of Anna (Setlak) and Edward Godek.After high school graduation and college business courses she was employed by the IRS in Detroit until her marriage in 1954 to professional musician Frank.Together they raised six children.Connee then resumed her job with the federal government and retired as executive secretary to the director of the Veteran's Administration Hospital dietetic department in Allen Park, Michigan.She was proud to live independently until her health declined in 2019.Connee appreciated fine art, and had a keen interest in politics and music.In retirement she enjoyed reading, gardening, the Detroit Red Wings, travelling and fashion.The Catholic church played a big part in her life.She never missed Sunday mass and belonged to St. Alphonsus Catholic Churchin Dearborn for over 30 years until she joined St. Anselm Catholic Church where she volunteered for a time as handmaid of the altar.There are no words to express how grateful and blessed we are to have had such a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She will be truly missed and never, ever, be forgotten.Per Connee's wishes, private funeral arrangements have been made.
