IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dan
Bowerson
July 18, 1957 – November 23, 2025
Dan Bowerson, a loving Husband, devoted Dad, cherished Papa, and loyal friend, entered into eternal life after a courageous seven-year battle with brain cancer. Dan's love of God and trust in His Will allowed Dan to accept what God had planned for him without ever complaining.
Dan was married to the love of his life, Maura, for 47 beautiful years. Together they built a life grounded in faith, love, and family. He was a proud father of Dan (Jennie), Shannon (Brett) Conroy, and Katie (Nick) Zubok, and an adoring Papa to Danny, Brady, Caelin, and Maddie. He was a dear brother to Ruth, Terri (the late Dwayne) Deaver, the late Susan, Dave (Sherry), and the late Rob. He was also the adored brother-in-law of Tim and Sheri McCrohan and Mitch and Beth McCrohan.
In addition to family and friends, Dan's life was rich with the things he loved – hosting at the cottage, music, pontoon rides, traveling, and the simple pleasure of fixing anything and everything he could. His sense of humor was incredible, and even until his very last moments of life, he filled the room with laughter. Dan lived a life of service, always putting other people ahead of himself.
For more than 40 years, Dan worked at Roush Industries, where he was respected not only for his hard work, but also his dedication and generosity. He touched the lives of many of the people that he worked with, forming relationships that extended far beyond the office or shop floor.
Dan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. His generosity, selflessness, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing that he is now with God and Blessed Fr. Solanus in heaven, smiling down on all of us.
"And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
