Beloved husband of 18 years to Amy. Loving father of Carter and Addison. Dear brother of Glenn (Janet) Ford of Wyoming and Alan (Franswa) Sanchez of Arizona. Brother-in-law of Tammy (Eliezel) Soto of Panama City, Panama, Jeremy (Trisha) Brower of Adrian, MI, Stacy (Scott) Abbott of Blissfield, MI, and Kevin (Amanda) Brower of Jacksonville, FL. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.Beloved Son-in-law of Terry (Linda) Marlatt of Adrian, MI and Kathy Wagner of Palmyra, MI. Dan is preceded in death by his Mother Carole J. Devlin and father Daniel J. Devlin. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and loving friends.
Dan started working at Frank's Nursery in Dearborn prior to attending Schoolcraft College & Oakland Community College. He worked as an EMT for Metro Ambulance Company for many years before changing careers to work at Visteon of the Ford Motor Company ordering parts for radios. He worked part-time at Norm's Meat Market in Westland and spent the last 16 years of his career working as a TSA Officer for Homeland Security at DTW Airport in Romulus.
He attended MorningStar Church in Garden City for the past 4 years.
Dan loved traveling & camping with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, bowling, golfing and playing softball. He loved nothing more than to watch his kids participate in their sporting events. Dan was an excellent cook & loved to grill.
Visitation Sunday 1-8pm with the Funeral Service Monday 1pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).
Memorials suggested to the family for the children.
