Age 79.

Beloved wife of Paul for 56 years.  Loving mom of Scott and Traci (Keith) Purdy.  Dear sister of Beverly Johnson and Geri (Chris) Leiter.  She was very dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends, especially her beloved niece Carol (Rick).  Darlene served the Wayne Westland School District as a parapro for around 30 years.  She had a great civic calling to help at the election polls for almost as long.  Darlene was also a former Livonia Civic Chorus member and was still an active member of the National Madame Alexander Doll Club, which she has been a part of for over 25 years.

Visitation Saturday January 3 at 11 am until time of funeral at 1 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., Garden City (between Ford and Cherry Hill).
