Darold Leigh Klovski, of Garden City, MI, passed away at his home October 10, 2024, after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 10, 1956, in Detroit, MI to Carolyn Harr and Donald Klovski. He grew up in Dearborn Heights and moved to his home in Garden City in the early 80s. Darold married Lani, the love of his life, on September 23, 2015.

Darold was a hard worker who valued family and nature. His exceptional work ethic was an inspiration, and occasional annoyance, to all he knew. He spent countless hours tending to his lawn and outdoor plants. He loved animals, motor sports, and rock and roll music. His primary mission in life was ensuring his family and friends were okay and had everything they needed.

In addition to his wife, Darold is survived by his children, Billy Lebring, Brian Klovski, Jeremy Houghtailing, and Christine Klovski. He also leaves his granddaughter, Beatrix Pemberton Klovski, his mother, Carolyn Clark, and his siblings Don (Lori) Klovski, Carol (Vic) Umlor, Sheryll (Dave) Kimbel, Gerald (Goldie) Klovski, Donna Doyle, Deanna Klovski, and Denise Klovski in addition to innumerable cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a memorial visitation at Santeiu & Son Funeral Home on Monday, October 14 from 2 pm - 5 pm, with a brief service to follow.
