Age 60

Beloved husband of Pat for 35 years. Dear father of Kristin (David) Venier, Scott (Katie) and Jeff (Kelcie). Papa of Jack and Harper. Son of Patricia and the late Jack. Brother of Karen (Mike) Weirauch and Jeff (Jennifer). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

David was a highly decorated power lifter who won the Drug Free World Championship in 2011.

Visitation Thursday 2-8pm with a 6:30pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., (between Cherry Hill and Ford Rd.). In state Friday 10:30am followed by the 11am Funeral Service at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood (at Merriman Road, 2 blocks north of Ford Rd.).

Family suggests memorials to Michigan Humane Society.
