On September 1, 2015, David A. Castelli, age 71, of Onsted, Michigan, peacefully went to sleep and woke up with our Lord in Heaven. David was born on December 2, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Albert and Shirley (nee'Tower) Castelli. He is survived by the love of his life, Mitzi, his wife of 25 years, along with his three sons Colin, Patrick, and Kevin and his daughter, Marci (Ryan) Pocklington. David was the best and most devoted Papa to Morgan, Jack, Heather, Erin, John, Kevin Jr., and great grandson Apollo. He was a wonderful big brother to his sister Cheryl (Roger) Odle. He is also survived by his Aunt Donna, nieces, nephews, and several cousins whom he loved very much. David was devoted to family and friends, and never took a moment of time with loved ones for granted. A six year cancer survivor, he was grateful for every moment the good Lord gave him. David LIVED with exuberance, spontaneity, and humor. He worked very hard and enjoyed his career as a successful realtor for over forty years at his family office, Century 21 Castelli in Garden City. David always found time for play. He loved to travel with his wife, visiting some of the most amazing places on the good Lord's Earth, including South Korea, Africa, Alaska, and of course, where he married his favorite girl, Hawaii. An avid poker player, hunter, and one of NASCAR's biggest fans, David did it all! He also loved to relax on his lake watching the sunset while holding Mitzi in his arms. He was an active member of his church, Faith Baptist in Adrian, and loved his congregation dearly.
