David Allen Jones of Dearborn Heights. Age 63. Passed away at his home on August 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Cecelia. Loving Dad of Heather (Dave) Schulz, Aimee Jones, Amber (Paul) Adkins and the late David "D.J." Jones. Cherished Papaw of David Jones III, Jacob Taylor, Austin Jones, Paul Lee Adkins Jr., Mikaela Adkins and Rachel Schulz. Dearest brother of Sharon (Tom) Lemaire, Sandra Knop, Cathy (Bill) Taylor, Mike (Lisa) Jones and the late Ronnie Jones. David served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Purple Heart as well as a Bronze Star Medal.

There will be a Memorial Gathering Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. The Memorial Gathering will continue after the Service until 5:30 p.m.
