Dave Ponzi age 84 passed away June 20, 2014 from complications of renal failure. Leaves his dear wife Filomena (Fil) of 58 years and daughters Cathy-Jo (Tom Ruge), Linda, and his beloved Grand Dog Heidi, his brother Richard (Nancy) from Portland, Oregon. Several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Lifetime member of Italian American Fraternal Club, Dearborn Italian American Club of Livonia and American Legion Post 147.

Dave served in the U.S. Army as a medic from 1950 to 1953.
He began his career at Ford Motor Company in 1949,Retired in 1984 from a management position in End of Line Emissions Engineering. Instrumental in implementing Emmissions Program state wide and in England. Enjoyed traveling, bow hunting, his cars, walking the beach in Siesta Key Beach, Florida where he spent all his winters. First and foremost was the love for his family.
