Age 51

Beloved husband of Laura Ann Savard.  Loving father of Olivia. Dear son of Don and the late Patricia. Dear brother of Lori (Andrew) Zalewski and Renee Ruggiero. Step brother of Donny. Grandson of the late Margaret Hayes. Son-in-law of Sandra Carpenter. Brother-in-law of Nicole Witteveen. Nephew of Robert and Phyllis Hayes.  Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Sarah Zalewski, Julia Burd, Jaimee Burd, Brittany Howarth, Joe Zalewski and Brandon Ruggiero.

Dean was a deputy for the Wayne County Jail where he proudly served for 16 years. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor who was always willing to lend a hand. He will be dearly missed by both friends and family.
