Age 69

Beloved husband of Vernadine for 45 years. Dear father and hero of Jon (Nancy) and Bernadette. He is also survived by his canine buddies, Myles and Louie.

Dennis enjoyed fishing and woodworking.  He was also an avid reader and loved working on crossword puzzles at his kitchen table. You could often find him at the American Legion Post 364 playing cards or pool with his fellow veterans.  Dennis was a gifted storyteller and always had a new joke to share with anyone he met.  Everyone who knew him will miss his twinkling blue eyes and big heart.  Dennis was a modest man who leaves behind a rich legacy - he was a true gem.

His family will be celebrating his life with Visitation Friday 2-8pm with the Funeral service Saturday 10am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill).
