Obituary

Beloved wife of the late Elden.  Loving mother of Jim (Toni), and Jerry (Susan Jefferis). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Brian (Amy), Christopher (Kelli), and Darren. Adored great grandmother of Tiffany, Nicolas, Morgan, Zachary, Olivia, Lexi, Cameron, Tyler, MacKenzie, Adalynn, Christina, and Brett. Dear sister of the late Beverly Wimmer. Dear friend of many, especially Robert and Lorna Cochrane and Pam Waack.

Dolores was a Dearborn Heights resident for 40+ years, loved her family, friends, and community.   She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Michigan since June 15, 1950 (70 years), served as Worthy Grand Matron in 1970, raising thousands of dollars for local charities.  She spent 23 years volunteering for the Garden City Hospital Guild, serving as president for 7 years, and remained an active member of Hope Lutheran Church since 1956.  Dolores also worked in the Dearborn Public Schools as a secretary in the late 1950's and 1960's.

Dolores found joy in working on her crafts.  She loved to sew, crochet, create handmade gifts for friends and family, and decorated her home with many of her beautiful creations.   She was kind, giving, loving, funny, warm, thoughtful, and everyone she met became a friend.

The impact Dolores had on so many is immeasurable, and she will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the Hope Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 3640 Madison, Dearborn, Michigan 48124.
