Age 85

Beloved husband of Lucy Cirocco for 64 years. Dear father of Donald (Kathy), Deborah Simor-Gavin, Diane (Gary) Bondie, Denise Clendening and Dina (Dan) Foster. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Homant, Allen (Melissa), Kristen (Jason) Betts, April (Ben) Mitchell, Merry (Sam) Ripley, Holly (David) Howard, Deanna Clendening, Katlyn Foster, David Simor & Stephen Foster. Great grandfather of Chase, Olivia, Will & Jenson. Brother of Gerald (Betty), Leroy (Marilyn), Edward (DaLonna) Heinrich and the late Marvin (Carol). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donald Gavin was a life-long resident of Michigan. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving his tour of duty in Germany. He loved many sports, particularly golf, but also enjoyed baseball, bowling and fishing. He enjoyed many vacations with his family in northern Michigan.

Visitation Tuesday 11am followed by the 1pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., (between Cherry Hill and Ford Rd.).

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
