Donald T. Pickel Age 86 June 20, 2014. Beloved husband of Lois.
Dear father of James, Nancy (Kenneth) Young, Susan (Robert) Roth and Pamela (Rick) Pack. Grandfather of Jennifer, Kelly, Jason, Andrew, Michael, Ryan, Lauren, Jonathan and Jeremy. Great grandfather of Tyler and Kaylan. Donald was a Service Planner for DTE and sang with the Edison Glee Club. He played senior volley ball and was an avid gardener who enjoyed his rose garden. He loved watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports.
Visitation Monday 5-8pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill). In state Tuesday 10am followed by the 11am Funeral Service at Cherry Hill Baptist Church, 1045 N. Gulley, Dearborn Heights, at the corner of Wilson Dr.
