Donna Karen Liese, Age 64, died peacefully in her home on August 18, 2015 surrounded by her family. Donna's quiet trust in God and ever-hopeful heart allowed her to inspire so many throughout her four year battle against ovarian cancer.

Donna was born on September 10, 1950 in Bryan, Texas to her parents, Hollis and Orene Ramsey. She attended Texas A&M University and fell in love with fellow-student, Clifford Liese. They married in 1970 and built a wonderful life together. Donna raised two daughters, taught high school Spanish, actively supported her husband in his church ministry and made significant contributions as choir director, worship leader and Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by daughter, Wendy Melton and her three children: Jack, Chase and Anna. Daughter and son-in-law Keri and Mike Morris, her beloved husband Cliff Liese and her mother, Orene Ramsey.

A special ceremony celebrating Donna's life will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at Merriman Road Baptist Church, 11am followed by a noon luncheon. The church is located at 2055 Merriman Road, Garden City. All are welcome to attend.
