Dora entered into God's care on March 16, 2021, preceded by her late beloved husband of forty years, Lawrence Murray. She was honored to be the loving mother of Kevin (Toni), Steven (Laurie), Mary, Heather (Kelly) and Kenneth (Sandra) and a loving grandmother to Kandyce, Michelle (Jeremy), Lindsey, Robert (Ashlee), Jennifer (Kenneth), James, Madison, Andrew, Jessica and great grandmother to Kaylee, Delia, Loralei, Dawson, Kasper and Graham.

Dora was employed as the Education Foundation's grant coordinator for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in Dearborn for 20 years and chaired the SME staff-oriented charity auction and bake sale for 15 years.

She also worked for 40 years as a volunteer at the St. Linus Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights in the elementary school, scouting programs, decorating committee, parish council, annual festival and as a wedding rehearsal coordinator, Christian Women's Club president, rosary maker and CSA (Catholic Services Appeals) parish auditor. She also volunteered in the St. Linus Pre-School program for eleven years as a teacher, coordinator and Director.

Dora was a co-founder and officer of the Dearborn Heights Newcomers Club in 1965 and conducted several arts and crafts programs and block parties for her neighbors from 1965-1980. More recently, she worked many years on the annual auction for the Divine Child Church (Dearborn), many hospice community charitable organization's events and Meals on Wheels.
