Age 89, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Kozora, with whom she shared 68 wonderful years of marriage, and a devoted mother whose life was centered on family, faith, and love.

Dorothy was the loving mother of Doreen Strachan (Mike Sandroni), Diane (Tony) Kornaga, Donna (Dan) Stanley, Denise (Carl) Baumeister, and the late Debbie Amrhein; and the dear mother-in-law of Tom Amrhein and the late Pete Strachan. She was a cherished grandmother to Kate (Derek), Steve, Sarah (Steven), Lauren (Marc), Colleen (Mitch), Michael, Eric, Josh, Trevor (Madi), Amber, Jacob, Megan (Brandon), and Emily, and a proud great-grandmother to ten precious great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of the late Eugene Wrost.

A woman of strong faith, Dorothy was an active member of the Christian Women’s Club at her church. She found joy in crocheting for those she loved and took great pride in her beautiful flower garden, which reflected her gentle spirit and nurturing heart.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She is now reunited with her beloved Ralph and daughter Debbie and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Sunday 12-6pm with an afternoon Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son, Inc., 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In State Monday 10am until the 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Kenneth Catholic Community 14951 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth (South of 5 Mile Road).
