Douglas D. Seal passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Seal, and his parents, Evelyn and Elizabeth (Barker) Seal. Douglas is one of six children.

He is survived by his three children, Debbie Myers, Dawn Rapp (Ron Balicki) and Jeffrey Seal, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Andy, Kayla, Morgan (Josh), Mackenzie, and Melissa (Ryan). He will also be fondly remembered by extended family and friends including Tom Rapp, the father of Morgan, Mackenzie and Melissa, who remained a close part of Doug's life.

Doug was a dedicated Fuller Brush salesman for over 60 years. He built lasting friendships through his work and was known for his strong work ethic and warm personality.

In 1966, Doug & Barb purchased a cottage on Houghton Lake, a place that quickly became everyone's favorite summer place. Many joyful summers were spent there, and the cottage continues to be a source of memories and togetherness for the family.

Doug will be remembered for his love of family, his kind heart, and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
