Obituary

Edward G. Ball III. Age 81. Passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Dearest husband of the late Mary Margaret Ball. Loving father of Kathleen (Philip) Kos, Dianna (Donald) Markin and Pamela (Marc) Shelton. Beloved grandpa of Melissa, Kristina, Michele, Casey, Brandon, Shelby and Sydney. Dear great grandpa of Jeffery, Alex, Mariah and Kolten.

Ed served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After serving in the military, he worked as a Production Supervisor at Ford Motor Company. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the city of Dearborn Heights. Ed was a dedicated parishioner at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. He served in the Usher's Club for many years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Dearborn Heights Lions Club, the Dearborn Heights Goodfellows and the VFW - Donovan Post #78.

Visitation Monday at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Instate 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 4855 Parker, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48125 until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m.
