Edward A. Darocy passed away on August 8, 2013 at the age of 89. Ed was born on April 6, 1924 in Hungary.Beloved husband of 51 years of the late Florence. Loving father of Denise Darocy. Ed was preceded in death by his second wife, Dorothy and his parents, Paul and Maria Darocy. Dearest brother of Ella Vince-Darocy and the late Ernest (Helen) Darocy. Ed will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was also a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of Dearborn. Ed worked in the insurance business for several years. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home, 2640 Monroe Blvd. (near W. Outer Drive), Dearborn, Michigan. Visitation Tuesday 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will take place at the cemetery.
