Age 86

Loving mother of Gary (Cynthia), Larry and Linda. Grandmother of Jennifer, Melissa, Megan, Garrett, Jeremy, Justin, and Hannah Broaddus and Joshua Broaddus-Scaturo.  Great grandmother of Tanner Rollings, Alexandrea Johnson and Leila Lynn Rose.

On April 16th, 2020 Eileen Linnea Broaddus passed peacefully from this life after a long battle with Cancer. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her sense of humor and sparkling personality. She had an intense love for her family, and for all animals, especially her dogs, Percy, Benji, and Mimi.

Born in Kalamazoo, Eileen spent her life in Michigan. After college, she married James (Ed) in 1954, who preceded her in death in 2014. Her outstanding customer service skills took her to the top of her field in taxpayer education at the IRS.

Calling "Up North" God's Country, her favorite moments were enjoyed walking in the woods, then sitting outside on her deck with a good cup of coffee. Eileen was an accomplished dancer and was thrilled to compete in a game of ping pong or Ms Pac-Man. She was a constant, loyal, Red Wings fan, Bingo enthusiast, and skillful collector.

Due to current State restrictions, no services will be held at this time a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Eileen will be laid to rest in Holly, Michigan with her longtime love and husband Ed.
