Elaine Cousino passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023, in Livonia, Michigan at the age of 97.  Her goal was to stay in her beloved home in Dearborn for all her days. With the help of family and wonderful neighbors, she stayed in her home up until her last year of life. She was the first born of five children to parents she adored, Bessie and Elton Cousino. She is survived by her siblings, Robert Cousino, Audrey McGinnity, Patricia Feyers and Carolyn Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Family was of utmost importance to Elaine. She always made the effort to keep up with family milestones and to recognize accomplishments.

Elaine was born in Detroit then moved with her family in 1950 to the home her father built in Dearborn, MI. She attended St. Gabriel's grade school, Holy Redeemer High School, and then earned her bachelor's degree from Marygrove College. By profession she became a prominent professional photographer. She owned her own studio, Elaine's Studio of Photography, where she photographed over 1,000 weddings and special events throughout her 52-year career.

Elaine will be missed dearly. It brings the family comfort knowing she had a life well lived and is now reunited with her parents in Heaven.

Funeral Service: The family will be receiving guests Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 9:30 am until the 10 am Memorial Mass at Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn.
