Elizabeth Alice Kereji, 79, of Livonia, MI, entered the presence of her Lord on November 12, 2023. She was born on June 5, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan. Elizabeth was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beloved sister of George (Linn) Kereji. Loving aunt of Zachary (Mary) Kereji, and Melissa (Aaron) Lee. Great aunt of Jacob, James, and Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, George, and Alice (Igrisan) Kereji, as well as her sister Linda.  Although she never married, she lived with two room-mates--Barbara Demorest for nine years before her passing in 1986 and Verona Dutton for forty-five years.

Elizabeth graduated from Wayne State University and went on to have a successful career as a hospital pharmacist at Oakwood (now Beaumont) Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, where she dedicated 40 years of her life. She was part of a large extended family, and her joy was to attend the family celebrations with her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved music and was a faithful member of the choirs at Oakman Boulevard Baptist Church and later Covenant Community Church.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Santeiu Funeral Home in Garden City, Michigan where visitation will be held on Friday, November 17 from 3:30 pm until 8:00 pm.  In state Saturday 10:30 am until the Funeral Service at 11 am at Covenant Community Church in Redford.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her steadfast love and faithfulness to her Lord, her family, and her friends.
