Elizabeth M. (Mary Beth) Stitt, age 87, February 22, 2022. Beloved spouse of the late David. Loving mother of Carolyn (Robert) Neff, Evan (Susan) Stitt, and Mark Stitt. Dear grandmother of Robert T. (Christine Loncaric), Emily (Michael), Evan (Taylor), Emma (Phillip), Sarah, and Julia (Erik). Adored great-grandmother of Marjorie, Oliver, Villanova, Ezra and Audrey.

Mary Beth was born in New York City on May 23, 1934, and grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA in 1955. She practiced nursing for several years at both Wyandotte General Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan and Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan after 18 years of employment. She served as a pastoral care volunteer at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn for many years and served on the Tabernacle Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She also volunteered on the building and grounds committees at Beaumont Commons Independent Living where she resided since 2018.

Memorial Visitation Friday 2:30-6:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 5:30 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). Family greeting at 10:30 AM with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn (on the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Military Street.)
