Ella Cosgriff, age 88, passed away on September 22, 2022. Beloved Wife of the late William. Loving Mother of William (Carol), Marty (Gail), Susan (Joseph) Wolkowicz, Patrick, Edward, Phillip, Lisa, and the late Donald. Beloved Nana of 12 and Great Nana of 4. Daughter of the late Mal and Bertha Hutchins. Sister of Barbara and the late Vangie, Mamie, Carace, Dorothy, Sam, and Louise. Ella is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Ella loved children, gardening, arts and crafts, and working in the church and the community.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Instate 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church (Mother of Divine Mercy Parish), 4440 Russell Street, Detroit, Michigan 48207 until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
