Elsie Louise Campbell, 81, beloved wife of Maurice Campbell, passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2014.

She and Maurice were married on December 10, 1949. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior on August 7, 1965 and was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church in Dearborn Heights. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Harrington and Thelma Garlick; her brothers Jim, Donald, Roger and sister Janice; daughters Debbie and Joann. She is survived by her husband, Maurice, her children Michael (Sandra) Campbell, Sandy (Sonny) Fisher, Connie (Matt) Boyd, Mark (Terri) Campbell, Matt (Caroline) Campbell and Mary (Frank) Nieto; sister, Kitty (Jack) Riblett; sons-in-law Mike Wenzel and Leonard LaMarne; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home at 1139 N. Inkster Road in Garden City on Thursday, September 11 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at Faith Baptist Church at 26305 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights on Friday, September 12 at 11:00 AM. There will be a one-hour viewing at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Officiating pastors include Rev. Donald Gregory, Rev. Barry Bedwell, Rev. Michael Wenzel, Rev. David Cross, and Rev. Mark Campbell.
