Ernest Wesley Bowler (83) September 20, 2022, was born on April 23, 1939, in Newberry, Michigan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Ernest went to Michigan State University. He worked and retired from the Center of Forensic Psychiatry Hospital as ground maintenance supervisor.

On November 30, 1957 he married his loving wife, Dawn Darlene Bowler, of 64 years, and together they had 3 children. Evan Bowler, Lynn (Louis) Hicks, and (preceded in death by) Randy Bowler.

Ernest not only was a loving husband and father, but also grandfather to Ashley Bowler, Amber (Chris) Miracle, Cheryl (David) Boeve, and Wesley Bowler.

He enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing, building flower stands, bird houses and squirrel feeders for his wife. He enjoyed watching football and the Detroit Tigers, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren whom he loved to spoil. Ernest made everyone laugh with his jokes and sarcasm. He will be missed deeply by all.

Per request cremation services were accorded. Small Memorial at a later date with immediate family.
